St.Pr.u.Pr.St.S1 Elfenzauber is a German imported Premium & State Premium purebred Trakehner mare.

Elfie, was the 3yo Champion mare of the Trakehner Verband grading in Germany in 2010 receiving 7.5 = jump, 8.0 = body, foundation conformation, walk & overall impression, 8.5 = type & canter, 9.0 = trot, & 10.0 = rideability.

Elife placed 6th as a 6yo in the 2013 Bundeschampionate in Germany and has obtained many wins in M level dressage, and was granted Premium & State Premium mare in the Trakehner Verband. Elfie carries the bloodlines of E.H. Tambour, E.H. Hohenstein, E.H. Tivano, E.H. Caprimond, E.H. Consul, Gipsy King, E.H. Buddenbrock and E.H. Sixtus.

Elfie's sire, E.H. Herzensdieb (E.H. Tambour a.d. St.Pr.u.Pr.St.S1 Herzensfreude v. E.H Tivano), has a long list of achievements to his name. The 16.2hh licensing champion and crowd favorite at the 2005 Trakehner licensing in Neumünster, Germany, E.H. Herzensdieb finished his stallion performance test as reserve champion and won the Trakehner Championship for 3-year-old stallions in the same year. He is a Bundeschampionate qualifier.

The striking bay stallion's intelligence and rideability allow him to flourish in his upper level dressage training, and his athleticism gives him talent over fences with beautiful scope. His correct gaits are expressive with the ability to collect. E.H. Herzensdieb has a FN breeding value dressage of 142 points and is in the top 10 percent of German dressage sires. He was honored with the prestigious Elite Hengst title (E.H.) in 2013 by the Trakehner Verband, and he is currently one of the few E.H. awarded stallions that are actively breeding in the United States.

Elfie was imported to Australia in 2016 and was purchased by Glen Tanner in 2019. She an outstanding mare in every way. She has the most beautiful temperament and we are beyond honoured and privileged to have such a special mare in Australia, and at our stud. Since being with us Elfie has produce two outstanding colts for us, Eisenherz (Ivanhoe x E.H. Herzensdieb) in 2020 and Ehrenherz (Totilas x E.H. Herzensdieb) in 2022.

Elfie has come out of retirement and has hit the dressage competition scene by storm, bringing home Elementary Champion at her second competition back from six years off and two foals, and yet to be unplace in a test since coming back. St.Pr.u.Pr.St.S1 Elfenzauber was FEI Grade V Para Dressage Champion at her first first International format attempt and is now in preparation and campaigning towards the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games for a place on the Australian Para Dressage Team. Elfie is currently on the Australian High Performance Team for Para Dressage and long listed for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
